Congrats To Governor Romney

Allow me to first say that to Governor Romney I owe an apology. Though the speech did not earn him my vote; it did earn him my respect. His speech helped define religion in the context of our countries founding. More importantly he made clear that secularism is not what was intended by our founders. He even went as far as to state that secularism is it self a religion and that certain people look to impose it on others. Will it help him become the leader of the free world probably not, but it was none the less a great speech. But don't take my word for it check it out for yourself. Olbermann's analysis is a little more realistic. It's hard for conservatives to not glorify a speech like this--when a candidate invokes god they swoon, regardless that these politicians are exploiting religion. One of the comments brings up an interesting point that the speech is pretty much a way to keep the Christiano-fascists from going over to Huckabee, which may be true. Eugene Thompson asked the right question--should we now expect a speech about marriage from Rudy?
