Limbaugh added his two cents on the issue today on his program. He stated that the county's qualms are "a sign of out-of-control partisanship in the nation." He added that if the county really wanted him off the air, the officials would just need to schedule an emergency press conference during his broadcast from noon to 3 p.m.

I just think its ridiculous that a legitimate government body is planning to end a business/safety contract with the largest, most listened to radio provider in the area (which is attributed to its programming) for political reasons. Just another example of liberals attempting to silence the opposition any little way they can.
Quick note: WIOD's lineup has been the same for years, becoming a staple in the area. However, there was no opposition to the contract a year ago when it was signed between the county and the station.

I cant seem to find any other reason why they would pull the contract, and the reason they give is not a legitimate one...dont you call people like this "lost liberals?" lol
BTW, we miss hearing you on the radio.
I thought WIOD had to get rid of the hurricane notifications because they already had too much hot air ... zing!
