Whew...
Wyeth has just received approval from the FDA for their new birth control pill (Lybrel) that stops women's monthly period indefinitely. From the Associated Press:"It's the latest approved oral contraceptive to depart from the 21-days-on, seven-days-off regimen that had been standard since birth-control pill sales began in the 1960s. The Wyeth pill is the first designed to put off periods altogether when taken without break."
Way I see it, it might prevent anomalies seen in society such as the fine young woman in this photo here. Less headaches for the rest of us, eh?

**For those of you who may take my analysis of this story seriously, its just a joke. Isn't it sad that I have to post a disclaimer for those out there who simply look for reasons to attack me?**

You've got that right! lol
not funny...
I think so. Its about time :P JK, I hope women enjoy the advance in technology
feminists are funny alone. I dont think a lack f a period will decrease their numbers though...but may decrease their outbursts.
Coming from a female, I am excited to get rid of my cycle when I don't need it... but I'm skeptical of this new break-through. How will this mess up my body to stop a natural thing?
It could make feminists even more spastic and hormonal.
C'mon Carl, this wasn't the best of stories to pick as a poke fun at these women... there are certainly more dramatic and crazy stories out there. :)
