Violence Hits France following Presidential Election
In response to the presidential election victory of conservative party candidate, Nicholas Sarkozy, many liberals did what they do best: Whine and Complain. After threatening riots and violence in the event that the people of France elected Sarkozy, the followers of Segolene Royal (Socialist Party candidate) delivered just that. Here is the estimated damage report as of now:- 592 people arrested
- 730 vehicles vandalized and torched
- 28 police officers injured
The bottom line here is that these liberals preach peace, flowers, love and happy-go-lucky land ideas, but when those ideas fail and the people call for change, they resort to complaining, scapegoating and violence. Funny how they scream that war is wrong, but they bring war-like conditions to their own streets in "protest" of a choice they don't agree with, even though its a choice made by the majority of French citizens (what happened to that concept of democracy they claim to be so proud of?). Its called hypocrisy, and liberals are experts at it (and covering it up).
"The French people have called for change. I will carry out that change, because that's the mandate I have received from the French people," stated Sarkozy. He went on to add that he wanted to tell his "American friends that they can rely on our friendship...France will always be next to them when they need us."
