Sneak into MY Home and Demand YOUR Rights?
For those of you unable to read English, this website is translatable (see flag images at the bottom).May 1, 2007 (May Day) marked a day of protest across the country as immigrants, both legitimate and illegal, gathered to fight for "immigration rights." Attendance at these demonstrations fell far short of expected goals.
Let me (once again) explain this issue to those of you out there who are still lost. We are fighting ILLEGAL immigrants (note the key word "illegal"). Those who infiltrate our borders unlawfully are criminals, and we need to make a push towards securing our borders and providing support for the law enforcement officers who work to secure it. We are a nation of laws, compromising the principles behind those laws will only make us weaker while we shove the problem under the table and hope for minimal consequences. By the way, where was US Immigration and Customs Enforcement on Tuesday? Should have been easy take-downs.
How about an example of the argument seen on May Day? Image someone sneaks into your home...you know, hops your fence and climbs in through an open window. Upon arriving, they tidy up your bedroom and take out the trash, in return they take a little food and loose change lying around. Do they now hold the RIGHT to stay in your home? Are you a racist if you want them to leave? Apparently they do, and you are, if you follow the logic of these nuts proclaiming that "no human is illegal." I for one would secure my "open windows" and protect my property to the fullest extent of the law.
People seem to have forgotten that principle: America is our home.
There is no plotting against legal immigrants or their methods of entering this country and becoming part of our society. Guest workers, students on visa, those applying for citizenship and then some need not group themselves with illegal immigrants.
Quick note: Notice how the girl in this photo painted "I'm a immigrant" on her face, proving that they need to learn proper English...she can't even get her meaningless message across clearly.

Youre right, you are a racist.
Send all the bastards home!
You're right, there is no attempt by the US to undermine legal immigration. Legal immigrants have always been welcome. Today several states have guest worker programs that allow Mexican workers to come to the US and legally work for up to 10 months a year. These programs work and should be expanded nationally.
And for those of you who think our borders and immigration laws should be ignored... just try to legally immigrate into Mexico, you need two picture ID's and a original birth certificate just to get a visa. If you get caught crossing the border into Mexico as an illigal its immediate jail time up to 5 years and a large fine. Plus you get no health care, no welfare, no food stamps, no school etc. Mexico does not just put you on the next bus home if they catch you, they punish law breakers unlike the U.S.
Just put some sharp shooters on the borders and pin their severed heads on pikes along the wall. YEEHAW!
