Indoctrination on a New Level

This new development on television in the Middle East has been ongoing for a little while now. For those of you who have missed it, Islamic Fundamentalists are reaching out to their youths in hopes of prepping them for Jihad ('struggle', 'Holy War') in the future. Their most recent propaganda tool? A large mouse that looks unmistakably like Mickey Mouse.

The new personality, named Farfour (Translates to 'Butterfly'), preaches against the U.S. and Israel on the new children's show run each Friday on Al-Aqsa TV, a station run by Hamas. The militant group, sworn to Israel and the West's destruction, shares power in the Palestinian government.

I think its amusing that Islamic Extremists pledge to destroy everything in western society, yet use aspects of our pop culture (music, cartoons, icons, etc.) in their propaganda against us.
