Environmental Extremism Goes Too Far
We talked about this on air today, but I want these stories to get more attention because this whole neo-environmentalist movement is getting out of hand. To recap quickly before you dive into these headlines, let me put together the list of targets these "green" hitmen have gone after:
Don't expect this to end either as this movement is in full force right now. It will be some time before any moderate and level minds begin to prevail in this argument. Until then, we'll just have to do what we can, suck it up, and hope that they don't take too much away from the average American.
- SUV's
- The oil industry
- Any energy industry that isn't wind or solar
- Lightbulbs
- Livestock (cows, sheep, etc.) emissions
- Plastic Bags
- Toilet paper usage (1 square recommended)
- The world population
- Children

I can understand a little sacrifice in order to save millions from the effects of climate change, but obviously downsizing the population isnt the answer. Maybe having fewer children is, I dont know. I do know that this is still an issue we cannot afford to ignore, and I for one am willing to sacrifice some things in my life in order to minimize the effects of GW.
Do some research people. The little squiggly light bulbs are a hazardous material- how are we suppose to discard them when they burn out? Don't believe me? Call you state government and ask them.
In PA it can cost over $2,000.00 to clean up the mess if you drop one in your home!
