Why Democrats are Pissing Me Off

This has nothing to do with lost liberalism (although many of them are these days), nor the fact that they are attempting to enact policy that I disagree with. This is about their efforts to destroy people within the Bush Administration in order to remain on top. This is pure politics, but they need to learn that politics is not a game that can be used for power.

What is politics then? I like to describe it as the facilitator between the people and legislators. A process in which the ideas that make up the majority of this country can be heard and seen when laws, policies and bills are written into our constitution.

What are the Democrats doing now on Capital Hill? Going after Alberto Gonzales, Scooter Libby, wasting time on non-binding resolutions, bad mouthing the administration and attempting to call out President Bush and all those around him on any little thing they can (Karl Rove, Condoleeza Rice, Dick Cheney, etc.). Yet, all the Democrats who are involved in scandals or sketchy histories are never brought up (Sandy Berger, Bill Clinton (not just Monica), Bob Byrd, Ted Kennedy, Barney Frank, John Murtha, William Jefferson, etc.).

This is all a loud, colorful show that the democrats are attempting to put on for the American people in order to convince them that Bush, Republicans, conservatives, pro-war advocates, corporate heads, and anyone who works for a living is inherently evil. This becomes a larger problem when you look at the repercussions of such an act.

They know that if they can get the word "bad" coming into the minds of people when they think of everyone listed above, they will begin to win with their damaging policy ideas.
Once they feel they have everyone in check, submission or just plain eliminated, they will go after the tax cuts and have them repealed, raise taxes, open our borders, end the Iraq War, proclaim victory for Iran and the Terrorist Insurgents, cut the Patriot Act, increase social program spending, institute national health care (on the dollar of those who won't use it), take the White House and then some.

Think I'm crazy? Look into their agendas and you'll notice they haven't begun to touch them yet. They are waiting for that moment when the average conservative feels bad about who they are and won't speak out against these liberal ideas that simply do not make sense outside happy-go-lucky land. It can be seen everywhere today.

Stick to your guns, conservatives...our ideas work. Do not let these liberals defame our good name and slander everything we have built in the name of relativism, secularism and "warm & fuzzy" feelings.
