Is Rosie Gone?

Rosie is gone from "The View" after less than a year, but what's next for the controversial "comedian?"

To analyze, lets take a look at some of her resume from the past year:

• Made racial references about Asians, stating "Ching Chang Chong."
• Declared that "Radical Christianity is just as dangerous as Radical Islam."
• Gave legitimacy to 9/11 conspiracy theories, claiming that this is the first time in history that "fire melted steel."
• Attacked Donald Trump for his decisions about his competition.
• Referred to the British soldiers capture by Iran as a staged initiator for war stating, "But interesting with the British sailors, there were 15 British sailors and Marines who apparently went into Iranian waters and they were seized by the Iranians. And I have one thing to say: Gulf of Tonkin, Google it. Okay."
• Gave no credibility to Khalid Sheik Muhammad's confessions because he had a "hood on his head and [was] being beaten to death."
• Repeatedly called for the impeachment of our President, calling him a disgrace and claiming America is not a Democracy. She also declared that "he is basically a war criminal."
• She also repeatedly attacked, and nearly ate, poor Elizabeth Hasselbeck (who is a babe by the way).

When looking back, the fact that Don Imus was let go over "nappy headed ho" clearly shows the leniency that has been shown to Rosie. In my mind, she should have been sent packing months ago.

I will give her credit though when its due: Her controversial statements have boosted the ratings of "The View" to all-time highs. It is because of this that I do not believe Rosie is gone. The attention she has received will most likely motivate her back into her own talk show, TV or Radio. In a setting such as that, she will be able to say whatever she wants without anyone arguing back.

Mark this prediction, she will be back on a taller soap box and with more to say. Watch for her to continue the push towards extreme political talk under the cover of "comedy."
